Circa does not collect any personal information. We do not require you to create an account or provide any contact details to play. This policy explains the limited data we collect and how it is used.
If you choose to appear on the global leaderboard, you can optionally enter a nickname. This name is stored on our servers and shown publicly next to your score. You are not required to provide your real name.
A random ID is generated on your device and used to submit and identify your leaderboard entry. It is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal identity.
We collect anonymous data about how the app is used — such as games started, answers submitted, and notifications tapped. This helps us improve the game. No personal information is included in these events.
We use Mixpanel to collect anonymous analytics. Mixpanel may process data on our behalf in accordance with their privacy policy.
Leaderboard scores and display names are stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database. Data is used solely to operate the leaderboard feature.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with any third party beyond the services listed above.
